Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage located on Collaroy Road, Cold Ash. The building is constructed of brick and timber framing, with brick nogging infilling the frame. It has a half-hipped thatched roof, with an end stack on the west side and one dormer window. The south front features one storey and an attic, with two bays and two windows, all of which are casement windows. A two-story addition from the 20th century projects to the right, and a door is situated in the left-hand return wall of the addition. The remains of a bread oven are located to the left.
