Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage located on Frog End in Shepreth. The building is timber framed and has been roughcast rendered, with a long straw thatched roof that is half-hipped, featuring an axial ridge stack. It has a two-bay layout with a lobby entry. The cottage comprises one storey and an attic. Two original gabled dormers, containing small-paned casement windows, are likely from the 19th century. The front facade has two flush frame casement windows on either side of a boarded front door. A brick, painted room, probably a pantry, has been added to the left-hand side and has a lean-to roof.
