Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage located on Church Lane in Fenstanton. It is a one-storey building with attics, constructed with a timber frame that has been rendered (covered with a plaster-like material). The roof is half-hipped and thatched, with a central chimney stack built of colour-washed brick. A single casement window is visible in the dormer on the left side, while two modern casement windows are present on the ground floor to the right of the entrance door. Inside, the cottage retains two inglenook hearths, which are built-in recesses around a fireplace.
