Description
Pibworth Farmhouse is an 18th-century house with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of brick with grey headers and red stretchers in Flemish bond on the north side, and grey headers with red dressings on the south side, topped with tiled roofs. The building has a long plan running north to south, featuring a main block to the north with flanking crosswings and a lower block to the south. It stands two storeys high, with half hips to the cross gables and a central hipped dormer on the east side of the main block. There is a chimney at the junction of the south cross gable and the central roof, as well as a chimney and central ridge chimney on the south block. A string course runs along the first floor.
On the east elevation, the lower block to the left has three 3-light casements with cambered heads and a central door. To the right, all windows are glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick flat arches above the openings. There are two windows in each crosswing and three windows in the centre, with a central six-panel door set in a doorcase that features an architrave, frieze, and cornice.
