Description

The drinking fountain, dated 1888, is located at the junction of Millbrook Road and Shirley Road in Freemantle. It features a granite trough supported by two cylindrical granite supports. At the rear, there is a stone pillar topped with a ball finial that displays the date. The fountain also includes a lion's head mask set in a hood moulding, along with the inscription "Thou preservest man and beast."
