Description
Conduit House, located in the grounds of Nazareth House, dates from around 1290. It is a small building constructed from rough stone and features three vaulted chambers. The entrance is made of stone blocks and has a carved lintel. This structure was built by the Friars Minor of Southampton and was originally used to cover the spring that supplied water to the friary located in the lower part of the town. Conduit House is also scheduled as an ancient monument.
