Description

The houses at 4-6 Rockstone Place, dating to approximately 1835, form a group of three dwellings connected to Nos 1-3 and 7-9. They are three storeys high with a basement, built with a stucco finish. The roofs are slate-covered. The building has seven windows in total, with the two end bays on either side projecting forward. A moulded eaves cornice is present, featuring a central triangular panel. There is a cornice above the first floor level. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Decorative cornices and brackets are found above the ground floor windows and above the central round-headed doorcase. Balconettes are located above the ground floor level of the central portion of the building.
