Description

The houses at 10-12 Rockstone Place (with No 12 being a replacement) date from approximately 1835 and are located alongside Nos 7, 8 and 9. They are a group of three houses constructed of stucco, with a rusticated finish to the ground floor. The building is three storeys high and has a basement. It has seven windows in total, with a recessed central three-bay section. The facade is punctuated by horizontal bands between the floors and topped with a parapet featuring a cornice and a central, pedimented feature. The windows are sash windows with original glazing bars. Cornices and brackets are present below the ground floor windows. Each house has a round-headed doorcase; the doorcase to No 11 has a cornice and brackets above it.
