All Saints Infants School and Playground Area Railings to West

All Saints Infants School is a Church of England infants school built between 1865 and 1866 by J.P. St Aubyn, with a late 20th-century extension. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring blue brick bands and voussoirs, along with Bath stone windows. It has clay plain tile roofs with gabled ends, which include moulded bargeboards supported on purlin ends and crested ridge tiles. The southwest gable is adorned with a terracotta patonce cross.

The school has a T-shaped plan with two schoolrooms arranged at right angles, a porch, and a master's room or office located in the southeast angle. The exterior is single-storey and asymmetrical, with a south front consisting of three bays and gables on both ends. The right gable is smaller and projects further, with a porch featuring a hipped roof, three lancets at the front, and a pointed arch doorway on the side that has a plank door with wrought-iron hinges. Behind the porch is a smaller gable with two lancets. The main gables on either side have large three-light windows with Geometric tracery, set within toothed brick pointed arches with blue brick voussoirs.

On the west side of the building, there are three pairs of lancets situated between brick buttresses with set-offs, and a louvred bellcote with a slate spire is positioned on the ridge of the roof. At the rear, there are late 20th-century single-storey flat-roof extensions to the left of the gable. The playground area railings to the west feature forked shafts and fleur-de-lis stanchions with scroll brackets.

The interior remains virtually unaltered, with the two schoolrooms open to arch-braced roof trusses supported on corbels. The west schoolroom contains a boxed-in bell mechanism at the apex of the roof. The master's room or office and the vestibule showcase exposed braced common-rafter roof structures, and there are pointed arch plank doors along with sliding doors between the schoolrooms.
