Description

The Brunswick Arms, on Brunswick Street, is a mid to late 18th century former terrace of buildings, which has been cut down and altered. It is two and a half storeys high and constructed of red brick with a blue brick band above the ground floor. The building features a brick eaves cornice and a Mansard roof covered in old tiles, with two brick stacks. There are three dormers, two of which contain glazing bar sashes. The front facade displays a narrow panel of silver grey bricks, followed by two tripartite windows. A further panel of bricks and another window are visible on the first floor, both with glazing bar sashes. The ground floor openings have segmental heads, though they have been altered. A Royal Insurance mark is positioned to the right of the inn sign.
