Description
No. 35 Tilehurst Road is a Grade II listed terrace house dating from around 1835. It has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, topped with a slate roof. The house features grey brick headers on a red brick plinth and has five bays facing Brunswick Street, with glazing bar sash windows. The central entrance is highlighted by an Ionic doorpiece, which includes fluted and reeded pilasters, a pulvinated frieze, and a modillion cornice, although the door itself is modern. The attic has a four-centre arch-headed window, which is subdivided by two similar windows. At the street, there is a dwarf wall topped with arrowhead railings. Additionally, there is a two-storey square bay on Tilehurst Road, which has round-headed lights.
