Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace row located on Peppard Road. The buildings at Nos 207 to 217 (the odd numbers) are constructed of red brick, with grey brick headers used in the facades of Nos 211 to 217. A brick cornice runs along the top of the building. The roof is slated with brick ridge chimneys. Each building originally had a range of windows, with glazing bar sashes, although the windows at No 211 have been replaced with modern casements. Nos 215 and 217 retain the original windows. No 215 is double-fronted with a recessed arched doorway. A painted inscription reads "Blenheim House.” An extra bay separates No 211 from No 213. No 217, known as "West Cottage," is two bays wide with an arched recess for the doorway and a two-window return to the west. The terrace represents an important survival in the Emmer Green area.
