Description

The inner park walls at Caversham Park date from the mid-19th century, although they may have been retained from the 18th century by the landscape designer Capability Brown. The walls have an oval plan, being more oval to the east than to the west, and feature a ditch on the outside. They are constructed of red brick and have buttresses that rise about 4 to 5 feet high.
