Description

This is an early 19th-century house, later used as offices. It is constructed of yellow gault brick in a Flemish bond, with stuccoed areas. The roof is a mansard style covered in Welsh slate, with a flat top and a brick stack on the left side. The building is three storeys high with an attic, and has three bays. The ground floor is stuccoed and features a door with moulded panels, the central panels being circular, complemented by a fanlight. To the right of the entrance are three late 19th-century sash windows, each set within a segmental arch. These, along with the door, are set within an arcaded recess featuring fluted pilasters. A bracketed iron balcony is located at the first floor, providing access to three late 19th-century French windows set under gauged brick flat arches. The second floor features nine-pane sash windows also set under gauged brick flat arches, with recessed panels in the brickwork below the sills. A stone cornice runs above the windows, topped by a stone-coped brick parapet. There are two flat-roofed dormers in the roof. The interior has not been inspected.
