Description
45, 45A, and 45B Queen Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and flats, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a Welsh slated mansard roof. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and has two bays.
The ground floor has a mid-19th century shop front frame that has been infilled in the 20th century. It includes a door on the left with an overlight and a shop window on the right with a central door, flanked by incised pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. On the first floor, there are two 9-pane casement windows with painted flat gauged brick arches. The second floor features two 9-pane unequal sash windows, along with a frieze, a moulded cornice, and a blocking course that has flanking panels and a central pediment shaped raised panel. There is also a 6-pane flat roof dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
