Description
Mitre Court House is a former stable block associated with Treadgolds, built around 1840 and later altered. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate. It stands two stories tall and has four bays with a symmetrical front. At the center, there are two stone steps leading to a 20th-century two-leaf half-glazed door. Flanking the door on both sides are 9-pane casements, all set within three segmental arched recesses that each have keystones. To the right, there is a 20th-century secondary door beneath a flat gauged brick arch. A plain stone band course runs along the building. The first floor has three paired 16-pane sash windows and a loft door on the right, each set under a flat gauged brick arch. The interior has not been inspected.
