Description

North Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century, which has been altered. It is constructed of brick, with some areas roughcast and painted, and features an old tile roof that is half hipped at the south end, along with a central chimney. The building is two storeys high with an attic. The first floor has a string course that is broken above the central door, which has a wooden lintel. There are two upper three-light casement windows, and to the right of the ground floor, there is a similar segmental-headed window. The south gable has two segmental-headed two-light casement windows on the ground floor, one two-light casement window to the left on the first floor, and one in the attic. The west roofslope includes a central dormer with a swept roof.
