Description

Frenches Farmhouse is a house from the 18th century that has been altered and incorporates earlier materials. It is built of colour-washed brick with a tiled roof and features brick chimneys located to the west of the center and at the east end. The house has two storeys and the north front consists of four bays. On the upper left, there are two barred sash windows set in architrave frames, while the two windows on the right have been bricked up. The ground floor has two similar sash windows on the left, a bricked-up doorway in the center, and a lean-to addition on the right that includes a re-set six-panelled door. The east gable has two small lattice windows on the first floor. The south front shows exposed timber framing on the left side, along with modern windows.
