Description
The Old Rectory Farm is a house that was formerly a rectory and is now a youth centre. It dates from the 18th century and may incorporate older materials. The building is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof that is hipped at the southeast corner and half-hipped at the west end, with the western, northern, and inner roof slopes covered in tiles.
The house is two stories tall, and the south front has four bays, each with 4-pane sash windows set in reveals with cills and segmental arched heads. There is a half-glazed door located in the second bay from the left, framed by a doorcase with engaged Doric columns and an entablature, accessed by three stone steps. The east front has two bays of sash windows, while the west front features two half-hipped gables. A central door is topped with a semicircular arched window, and there is an attic window to the left.
