Description

Old Thatch is a cottage from the 18th century located on the west side of Newport Road in Woughton on the Green. It is constructed of buff brick and features a thatched roof, which includes a small two-light dormer on the right-hand side. The cottage has flanking brick chimneys, with the left-hand chimney being in a half-hipped end, stepped, and projecting. The building is two stories tall with an attic. There is a door in an open thatched porch to the right of the center, and to the left, there are two two-light casement windows with flat arches. Additionally, there is a one-storey tiled extension on the right-hand side.
