Description
The garden walls at Lathbury Park, located to the east of the house, date from the early 19th century and were formerly included in Lathbury Park House. These walls enclose a vegetable and fruit garden and are constructed of coursed rubble with brick cogged eaves. The top is sloping and rendered in cement, capped by brick. Some sections are lined with brick on the inner face. The walls stand approximately 2 metres high and form a rectangular shape, running from the north-west to the south-east. At the north end of the west wall, there are stone gate piers topped with ball finials on ogee bases. The wall continues west along the south side of Church Lane, where it has a butt joint with the main garden wall.
