Description

An early 18th century house, with later additions, situated on Mill Street. The house is constructed of red brick with an old tiled roof. It is two storeys high and has three sash windows with moulded frames. A shallow dentil cornice runs along the top of the front elevation. The front door is panelled and features an oblong fanlight within a ribbed surround, with a panelled reveal and a cornice supported by two simple brackets. A mid-19th century gabled wing extends from the west end of the building. The original mill was destroyed by fire in 1880.
