Description

The White House is an early 19th-century bank that now forms one building with number 30, which is Barclays Bank, located on the north side of High Street in Newport Pagnell. The building features stucco on brick with a Welsh slated roof and consists of two storeys and an attic. There are bands between the floors and quoins on the second storey. The roof has two hipped sash dormers, while the first floor has a large bay with sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor features a panelled door with an oblong fanlight set within an architrave surround, along with three sashes in moulded frames and plain sills. The interior has been altered to meet modern banking requirements.
