Description

No. 43 North Street is a small house from the 18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of coursed rubblestone and features a corrugated asbestos roof with a flanking brick chimney. The house has two bays and stands two storeys tall. There is a one-storey, three-bay west wing, also made of stone and with a corrugated asbestos roof. The windows are casements, and there is a central four-panelled door with a cut bracket hood. A band course runs along the building, and the first floor has leaded triple casements. The west range has triple casements, with the left-hand ones boarded over, and there is a door located between the left-hand bays.
