Description

No. 43 Goose Street is a house that dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble with an asbestos sheet roof and features a central restored rubble ridge stack, along with a later 20th-century stack projecting from the left side. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys high, with four bays. The windows are moulded stone-mullioned, with two and three lights; the two windows on the upper floor to the left still retain one leaded light each. There is a door opening to the left, which contains a 19th-century five-panelled door, and a further door opening to the right that has been blocked.
