Description
No. 9 School Lane is a cottage that was originally the solar bay of a medieval hall house. It dates from the medieval period, with elements from the 16th century and 19th century. The exterior is finished in colourwashed roughcast and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays, with paired casements and an off-centre door. It incorporates an earlier structure that continues into No. 11. The staircase at the rear was formerly part of No. 11.
