Description

No. 12 Main Road is a cottage dating from around the 17th century. It is part of the same terrace as The Old Bakery and No. 11, likely built around the same time. The cottage features colourwashed stone walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks. It has two storeys; the ground floor includes a ledged door and two modern casement windows with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two horizontally sliding sash windows, also with glazing bars. At the west end, there is a single-storey lean-to with stone walls and a corrugated iron roof.
