Description

No. 10 Main Road is a detached cottage with origins dating back to the 17th century, featuring later enlargements. The building has colourwashed stone walls and a thatched roof with brick stacks. It is one storey high with attics. The facade facing the road includes a modern oak ledged door. On the ground floor, there are two horizontally sliding sash windows and two casement windows, all fitted with glazing bars. The attic features three half dormers, each with casement windows. The east elevation has a part-glazed porch with a tiled roof and a modern oak ledged door that includes a glass panel. The ground floor on this side has one casement window, while the attic has two casement windows with a central horizontal bar.
