Description
Maltings Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed of rubblestone and has a slate roof. The building features five bays and is two storeys high. The front has triple leaded casements with cambered heads, and a central six-panel door topped with a fanlight and a simple pediment hood. Above the door, there is a two-light casement on the first floor. There are stacks located between the left and right-hand bays, and the south gable stack is from the 17th century, showing signs of an earlier roof, made of stone with two square shafts that have been renewed in brick. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that is also made of stone and has a slate roof.
