Description

This house, formerly subdivided, dates primarily to the 17th century, with alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries. The earlier parts are constructed of colourwashed rubble stone, while a later 19th-century block is of herringbone-set rubble with brick dressings. The building has tile roofs. The original core consists of two bays, arranged over two storeys with an attic. The ground floor features sash windows, and a modern trellis porch covers the doorway to the right of the left bay. A blocked door is located to the right. Casement windows are found on the first floor. A modern, single-storey rear extension has been added. Internally, the earlier areas feature chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. A late 19th-century bay window is present on the left flank. Sash windows are characteristic of this later addition.
