Description

The dovecote in the grounds of "The Close" dates from the late 17th century. It has a square plan and features impressive diapered brickwork in Flemish bond. The building has moulded wooden eaves and a hipped tiled roof, which is topped with a glazed lantern and the remains of a fine wrought iron weathervane.
