Description

This is a late 18th-century house on Castle Road, Lavendon. It is constructed of rubble stone with a modern tile roof and a brick chimney on the left-hand side. The west-facing front has three bays. It features barred sash windows with painted wood lintels; the windows are four panes wide, except for the first-floor centre window which has three panes. The front door is a four-panelled flush door set within a surround of panelled, reeded pilasters that support brackets and a flat hood.
