Description

This is an 18th-century house located on the north side of High Street, Lavendon. The house is constructed of coursed rubble stone, with a steep-pitched roof now covered in modern plain tiles. Brick chimneys flank the roof, and there are open rafter eaves. The front elevation has two bays, each featuring a two-light casement window with wooden lintels. A modern door is centrally positioned. A lower, one-bay wing is situated to the right-hand side; it is stone with brick quoins and has a modern pantile roof. A shop wing to the left-hand side is not considered to be of architectural interest.
