Description

This is an 18th-century house of local brick and pantile roofing, situated on the west side of Yarm High Street. It features end chimneys, some of which are rendered. The house has a stepped band marking the second floor and exhibits a slightly irregular facade with four windows. A small, blocked window is visible on the left-hand side, positioned above an entrance to a yard. The first floor features early and late 19th-century sash windows set in exposed wooden architrave frames. A late 19th-century double shop front is present, and to the right, a more modern shop front extends from the dentilled cornice. A three-storey rear wing is also part of the property.
