Description

This is a late 18th-century red brick house, located on the west side of Yarm High Street. The upper parts of the building have been rebuilt, and the roof may have been raised at some point. It has a Welsh slate roof with brick chimneys at each end. The house is three storeys high, with one and two windows on each floor. It features sash windows with glazing bars, set within wooden architraves, and has stuccoed lintels and stone sills. The ground floor has been rebuilt with modern brick, now housing two small shops. There is an iron gate leading to a yard entrance on the left side. A gabled rear wing extends from No. 89.
