Description
This is an 18th-century building located on the west side of Eastgate in Beverley. It is two storeys high, with a rendered facade and a pantile roof. The gable end features tumbled brickwork, and the eaves have a dentil brick cornice. The first floor has two hung sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has a similar sash window and a shop window characterised by panelled pilasters, moulded consoles, a reeded cill, and a bowed window with original glazing. A half-glazed door with a four-pane rectangular fanlight provides access to the building. To the left is a four-panel house door with plain pilasters and an entablature. A vase-shaped lead rainwater head is also present.
