Description
15 Highgate is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from red brick and topped with a machine tile roof. It features a painted moulded brick eaves cornice and two gabled dormers. The façade includes three near flush frame sash windows, which have glazing bars, gauged brick heads, and stone cills. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is adorned with a rectangular ornamental fanlight, framed in a moulded wood architrave and set within a recessed reveal that has a gauged brick head. Access to the door is via four stone steps, flanked by two wrought iron guard rails with scrapers. The building has a projecting base with recessed panels at the basement level and a double gable end. Inside, there is a good staircase.
