Description
The gate piers and gates to the west of Linford Hall date from the mid-19th century and were originally part of Linford Hall, which has since been demolished. The current house on the site is modern. The gate piers are made of cast iron and have hollow square sections with chamfered sides and bases. They feature corniced caps topped with ogee saddleback designs. The wrought iron gates have scroll tops, and there are short lengths of railing on each side of the piers.
