Description

The walls flanking the west front of Linford Manor date from the 18th century and are constructed of dressed stone with plain copings. They are positioned on either side of the main block, in front of the wings. Each wall features a central gate with square piers that have moulded cappings, topped with modern stone urns. At the northern end, there is a taller section of stone wall that includes a corner pier with a ball finial. This section has three bays, with a central blind recess flanked by blind lunettes and gates to the left-hand side.
