Description

The Nags Head Public House is a 17th-century building that has been altered over time. It features painted rubble stone and a thatched roof, with chimneys located on the southwest gable and to the right of the center. The structure is two stories tall with an attic.

The north front has three main bays, each with small three-light leaded attic casements set into the thatch. On the first floor, there is a two-light 19th-century casement window on the left, and four-light leaded casements in the center and right bays. The ground floor includes two 19th-century two-light casements with a glazed door between them, a three-light casement in the center, and a door with a similar three-light casement to the right.

The east front, which faces the road, features a gable on the right with a six-panel door and a small hood above it. To the left, there is a one-story and attic wing that has one dormer in the thatch and two two-light casements with panelled shutters on the ground floor.
