Description

The walls enclosing the garden layout of Linford Manor are low rubble stone walls, which partly serve as retaining walls to the east. They enclose an early 18th-century formal garden layout, along with almshouses, a barn, and a series of fishponds, covering an area of about 10 acres. There are mid-19th century gates at the south entrance, featuring plain gatepiers topped with ball finials. The west entrance also has plain gatepiers with ball finials.
