Description

The gate piers and flanking walls at the entrance to The Manor House are likely from the late 18th century. They feature rusticated limestone gate piers topped with moulded cornices and large moulded ball finials. The entrance is adorned with cast-iron double gates, and there are dressed limestone curved walls that recess the gates from the road. These walls have flat coping that sweeps up to the piers, extending approximately 4 metres to the right and 11 metres to the left of the gates.
