Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1742, as indicated by the datestone above the porch. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a concrete interlocking tiled roof with gable end stone stacks and coped verges. The building is two-storey with an attic and has three windows across the front.
The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door set within a gabled porch that has a moulded architrave. On either side of the door are three-light chamfered mullioned casements. The first floor features a central two-light mullioned casement flanked by two three-light mullioned casements. There are also two full attic gables, each with two-light cyma-mullioned casements.
On the left side of the building, there is a ground floor two-light chamfered mullioned casement and a first floor two-light cyma-mullioned casement. The rear of the farmhouse has lean-to additions and 20th-century roof lights. The interior has not been inspected.
