Description
Hill Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse situated on the C19 road between Haversham and Little Mill, Linford. It is a double-pile house of four bays, built of coursed rubble stone with a slate roof. The north front is cement rendered and features pilasters and a cornice above a central entrance bay. The entrance itself is framed with panels and has a panelled door surmounted by a fanlight. Sash windows are present throughout, with one pane to the left of the entrance door. A former doorway between bays three and four has been blocked and replaced with a transom window. Some windows have cement gauged flat arches with keystones; three first-floor sash windows are visible in bays one to three. Brick stacks flank the entrance bay. The south-east or garden front features two-bay windows with sashes above.
