Description
Pike's Farm is a farmhouse from the 18th century that has been subdivided into two residences. It features coursed rubblestone construction and slate roofs, with a total of five bays and two storeys plus dormers. There are two rear wings at right angles, both of which are either late 18th century or early 19th century.
The southeast front has a central entrance with a six-panel door, a rectangular fanlight, and panelled reveals, along with a modern porch. The windows are sash style with keyblocks above stone flat arched heads. On the ground floor, the first and fourth windows are blocked, while on the first floor, the second and fourth windows are also blocked. There are three dormers with segmental heads.
Brick stacks are located at the gables and between the third and fourth bays. The northwest wing features a tripartite sash window on the ground floor. The remainder of the northeast gable and the two wings have sash windows and stacks. On the southwest gable of the main block, there is a French door with margin panes. A Britannia fire insurance plaque is located on the right-hand gable.
