Description

The north gates and gate piers to The Hall, located at Number 1, Town's Lane, date from the mid-18th century and are constructed from limestone. There are two square-section piers made of rusticated blocks, each topped with a cornice. Above the cornices, square-section ogee plinths rise to ball finials. The gates, which are of early 20th-century wrought iron, are attached to the piers. Running south from the southern pier is a length of boundary wall made of coursed ironstone with pitched stone coping.
