Description

The gates and gate piers to Hall Garth date from the mid-19th century. They are made of sandstone and feature wrought iron gates. The gate piers are square in shape, tapering, and have a sunken panel on three sides. Each pier is topped with a square cap that has a moulded cornice and a plain frieze. The gates are decorative wrought iron, consisting of one wide gate and one narrow gate, separated by an openwork pillar.
