Description
Eagle's Head is a public house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from watershot limestone with limestone dressings and features a slate roof. The building has a symmetrical double-pile plan, standing two storeys high with three bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have dressed stone reveals. The entrance door is framed by a plain stone surround and has a hood supported by console brackets. The roof extends over the building on purlins. To the left, there is a former barn and stables, which have a lower roof and display the date '1829' above the former barn entrance.
