Description

16 Star Hill is a late 18th-century house in Rochester. It is constructed of gault brick with a Welsh slate hipped roof. The house is three storeys high and has a regular three-window facade. A rubbed brick flat arch features above each plate-glass, two-pane sash window on all three floors. The building has a coped parapet and a cornice band. The original six-pane door is located on the left-hand side; the four upper panels are raised and fielded, topped by a delicate Adam-style pediment with urns. The fanlight above the door is of a rich Sunburst design.
