Description

ROCHESTER MAIDSTONE ROAD TQ 7468 SW 9/172 Nos 65 and 67 23-8-74 GV II Pair of houses. Late C18. Gault brick; Welsh slate roof. Double-depth plan with ridge stacks. 3 storeys. Front: 3 window range, the centre bay with blanks marking position of stairs. 1st floor with 8-pane sashes (that to No 65 renewed); 1st and ground floor with 12-pane sashes, all in reveals under rubbed brick flat window arches. Paired central doorways reached by flight of stone steps; panelled doors in reveals with fanlight. Rear: No 67 and removed sashes; No 65 with one sash, the remaining windows with casements.
